Section 2: Our Global Strike Card Model

Coalition building is essential to our success: We connect and collaborate with organizations worldwide to strengthen the movement through shared resources and coordination.

One of the ways you show that you support the strike, is by signing a strike card with a organization that supports the Global General Strike. Over time more and more organizations will be connected.

To build the momentum with all of our Coalition Partners, each organization has their own strike cards, and we just add up the totals tracked by each organization.

Security is Key: Our decentralized approach protects everyone involved. You have multiple ways to participate while keeping your data safe and distributed.

Strike Card options :

• Individual Strike Cards track your personal commitment

• Organizational Strike Cards allow groups to register collectively

• Data stays distributed and secure through decentralization

• We help connect you to regional organizations in your area

Section 7: Frequently Asked Questions

How are we different from other strike movements?

We maintain direct accountability at the global level with transparent communications and decision-making. We are an organization within a movement, not the movement itself. This means we coordinate without trying to control or replace existing organizations.

How do you protect our data?

You do not need to give us any data at all. Keep everything local with our decentralized model. If you choose to share information, we maintain transparent security oversight with immutable protections. Anyone can propose improvements to our security processes.

What if my country doesn’t reach 3.5%?

You can still join the strike. Our goal is global 3.5% across all participating countries. Some countries may wait longer to help others reach their goals. This means some will exceed 3.5% to balance the global total and ensure success.

How do local demands connect to global demands?

Each community, region, or country can add their own demands alongside the global demands everyone agrees to. This flexibility empowers local communities while maintaining global unity and shared purpose.

What happens if governments try to stop the strike?

Our decentralized model makes us resilient to suppression. With no central leadership to target and organizations distributed globally, the movement can continue even if some regions face interference. Local organizations maintain autonomy and can adapt strategies to their specific conditions.
